Description
The Column Mirror is Bower's interpretation of the classical architectural form found in structures from the ancient world to present day. The mirror is composed of long strips of glass that are progressively thinner towards the outer edges of the flat substrate, creating the illusion of grooves receding around a cylindrical pillar. The Column's height is designed to be easily customizable so that it can stretch from floor to ceiling, appearing to support the weight of the world, creating a dynamic integration between object and space.
