Reinaldo Sanguino was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He graduated in 1993 from the School of Visual Arts Cristobal Rojas in Caracas, with a degree in ceramics. He soon relocated to New York City, where he currently works and lives. He has exhibited in both one-person and group shows throughout the United States and Latin America, and his work is included in several major private and public collections including the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Texas, the MINT Museum, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minneapolis MN.
